In the mid-70's, Huck put a band together and rocked his hometown of
Thousand Oaks, Ca from 1976 to 1983. The band also played the L.A. area
doing gigs at such venues as the Palomino, the Sasch, The Troubadour, the
Central and more. He also did several Gong
Shows and a Dating Game, after becoming
friends with Chuck Barris, who he met at a Kings hockey game one night.
In 1985 Huck Flyn, joined the "Otis Day and the Knights" tour in New York
City in which Dewayne Jesse reprised his "ANIMAL HOUSE" role on the road.
Huck Flyn also performed on Knots Landing in 1987 and in 1988, he did a
guest set at a couple clubs in the bay area and the crowds immediately took
to him. He quickly became known as the “Rock n’ Roll Comedian. He quickly
enjoyed success on the circuit.
Huck has worked with such acts as: Rob Schneider, Dana Carvey, Paula
Poundstone, Bobby Slayton, Elaine Boozler, Vic Dunlop, & The Unknown Comic,
as well as rockers, Elvin Bishop, Albert King, Albert Collins, Travis
Tritt, Starship, and Otis Day & the Knights, just to name a few.
Huck has been involved in four (4) Tony LaRussa ARF (animal rescue benefit)
concerts and gives free guitar lessons to friends & family...
Huck has become a crowd favorite and keeps getting calls to do clubs, concerts, corporate gigs, colleges, and
nightclubs…as a Blues guitarist AND/OR a Comedian….the reason? He Rocks!!!
